- APRIL IS AUTISM AWARENESS MONTH -
- (April 2nd, is World Autism Awareness Day) -
Hi everyone!
I would like you to know that this month, is a very special month for me because
it's Autism Awareness Month and that one of my sons have this disorder. My oldest who have
20 years old have a ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) with light intellectual disability.
Every year, I like to take the time to educate people about autism and to remind them of the
importance of acceptingchildren/adults who have a disorder and which are "different" from most of us.
If you wish to deepen your knowledge on autism, full of information sites can be found on the net.
Simply type "autism" and voilà ! For example, you will learn that autism is not a disease,or, that it
affects boys more than girls. In short, lots of little things like this that will make you better understand autism ;)
